Indy Parks & Recreation’s mission is to create fun, safe, engaging, and sustainable parks that enhance the quality of life for individuals, neighborhoods and communities. We offer opportunities for fun, fitness and family togetherness, through cultural, environmental, and athletic programs and services. These include sports, arts, health and fitness, environmental education, summer day camp, and therapeutic recreation programs, among others. Indy Parks maintains and operates 207 park properties in Marion County including regional, community, neighborhood, and bark parks, as well as natural resource areas. Each park offers unique and inexpensive recreational opportunities for you and your family. Amenities include gardens, golf courses, picnic shelters, pools, playgrounds, recreation centers, park trails, and sports fields, courts, and complexes.
